The Duesenberg line of automobiles were produced in Auburn, Indiana from 1921 through 1936.  The 1934 Duesenberg SJ was one of only 36 built between 1932 and 1937.  It was a supercharged variant of the Duesenberg Model J and came equipped with a 320 h.p. engine that allowed it to exceed speeds well in excess of 100 m.p.h.  In fact, one variant that came equipped with the "Mormon Chassis" achieved an average speed of over 135 m.p.h. at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.  This older, out-of-production 1934 Duesenberg S.J. model includes the following features: 1) Black chassis; 2) Clear plastic windshield; 3) Chrome plastic trim; 4) Four rubber tires; 5) Tan body and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  Note: the price of this kit reflects the fact that the two spare tire inner mounts are missing and will have to be sourced from the "spares" box.  The box is in excellent condition but does have four letters initialed on the left hand side of the box top.  Never started and 100% complete except as noted with all parts and instructions inventoried.
