The 1953 Corvette represented the first production year of this legendary American sports car manufactured by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors.  Only 300 hand-built Corvettes were produced during this model year which makes them a rare and much sought after collector car.  All 1953 Corvettes came with Polo White exteriors and red interiors with black canvas soft tops.  Also, only the 235 cu. in. inline six cylinder engine was available.  This 1953 Corvette scaled model includes the following features: 1) Chrome parts; Clear plastic windshield; 2) Detailed 235 cu. in. inline six cylinder engine; 3) Detailed interior; 4) Hood can be displayed in the closed or open position; 5) Vinyl whitewall tires and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.   Never started and factory sealed.
