1955 was a banner year for Detroit automakers and Chevrolet was at the cutting edge of power and styling.  The 1955 Chevy Bel Air was the most changed model since the end of World War II and brought with it a powerful V-8 engine which was only the second V-8 in Chevrolet's history.  This V-8 engine was 30 percent more powerful and 40 pounds lighter than the old 6 cylinder powerplant.  Two tone paint schemes were also all the rage in 1955 and Chevrolet offered some of the best examples.  This older, out-of-production 110 piece 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan includes the following features: 1) Authentic custom decals; 2) Build one of two ways; 3) Chrome Parts; 4) Clear plastic glass areas; 5) Engine options - Stock 265 cu. in.
