The Chevrolet Nomad produced by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors is best remembered in its 2-door body style which was manufactured for the 1955 through 1957 model years.  The Nomad station wagon was unique for the era in that its styling more closely followed that used for a hardtop sedan.  While the Chevrolet Nomad was considered a "milestone" vehicle, poor sales lead to it being discontinued with the new body styling launched in the 1958 model year.  This older, 130 piece 1955 Chevrolet Nomad scaled model can be built as a stock, custom or drag racing vehicle.  Other features of this model are as follows: 1) Chrome parts; 2) Clear plastic window areas; 3) Custom options including pick-up truck roof conversion, rear cargo rails and custom hood scoop; 4) Detailed 283 cu. in. V-8 engine; 5) Detailed interior; 6) Hood can be displayed in the closed or open position; 7) Racing options including 2 racing bucket seats, racing helmet, racing steering wheel, fuel injection system with velocity stacks, moon gas tank and chromed front suspension; 8) Opening tailgate; 9) Poseable front wheels; 10) Three height front suspension; 11) Vinyl whitewall Firestone Supremes; 12) Wheel options including stock wheel covers or chrome five spoke mags and 13) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and factory sealed
