The 1965 Chevy El Camino was manufactured by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors in the second model year of the second generation of this vehicle.  The second generation of the El Caminos were produced for the model years 1964 through 1967.  The Chevy El Camino competed directly with the Ford Ranchero in the "coupe utility vehicle" market segment.  The 1965 El Camino received a "face-life" with its front-end similar in design with Chevrolet's redesigned full-size Chevrolets.  The 1965 El Camino came equipped with either a 327 cu. in. V-8 or a larger 396 cu in. V-8 motors.  These engines could be paired with the following transmissions: 1) 2-speed automatic; 2) 3- speed automatic; 3) 3-speed manual and 4) 4-speed manual.  This 1965 Chevy El Camino scaled model includes the following features: 1) Chrome parts; 2) Clear plastic window glass areas; 3) Detailed V-8 engine; 4) Detailed interior; 5) Hood can be displayed in the closed or open position; 6) Vinyl blackwall tires and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
