The 1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 was a limited production, high performance vehicle manufactured by General Motors in the second year of the second generation of vehicle.  The second generation of Oldsmobile 4-4-2 vehicles were produced for the model years 1968 through 1971.  The 4-4-2 designation stood for the four-barrel carburetor, four speed transmission and dual exhausts.  The 1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 was similar to the previous model year albeit with noticeable changes in the grille, rear tail-lights and location of the ignition switched which was moved from the instrument panel to the steering column to facilitate the locking of the steering wheel.  The available engines included the 400 cu. in. V-8 and 455 cu. in V-8 motors.  The rare W-30 engine option package included Ram Air forced air induction intake hoses, chrome topped dual snorkel black air cleaner and special under bumper air scoops.  This new, 1969 Olds W-30 442 W-30 scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic black hood strips; 2) Chrome parts; 3) Clear plastic window glass areas; 4) Detailed 400 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine; 5) Detailed interior with four speed, floor mounted "Hurst" shifter; 6) Hood can be displayed in the closed or open position; 7) Vinyl blackwall tires; 8) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
