The 1969 Barracuda was manufactured by the Plymouth Division of Chrysler Motors in the last year of the second generation of vehicles produced from 1967 through 1969.  The second generation of Barracuda's were fully redesigned with new sheet metal styling in a number of different vehicle body styles including a 2-door convertible, 2-door fastback coupe and 2-door notchback coupe.  The Plymouth Barracudas from the second  generation of vehicles could be ordered with a slant I-6 motor or with six different V-8s ranging from a 273 cu. in. V-8 up through a high performance 426 cu. in. dual four barrel, "Hemi" V-8.  There were few significant styling changes made to the 1969 Plymouth Barracuda but from a marketing perspective increased emphasis was made on the performance this classic pony car offered the car buying public.  One interesting trim options was called the Mod Top which was a vinyl roof covering with a floral motif.  This 1969 Plymouth Barracuda scaled model includes the following features: 1) 1) Chrome parts; 2) Clear plastic window glass areas; 3) Detailed V-8 engine; 4) Detailed interior; 5) Hood may be displayed in the closed or open position; 6) Hood with air intake scoops; 7) Transparent red parts; 8) Vinyl blackwall tires and 9) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
