The Plymouth Duster was a fast-back version of the Plymouth Valiant automobile and was produced between 1970 and 1976. The 1971 Duster was a hugh success for the Plymouth Division of Chrysler Motors and came with an all-new trim package. Engine choices included an inline 6 cylinder engine as standard and an optional 318 cu. in. V-8 engine. The 1971 Duster also included matte hood and side stripes. An appearance package option also included a nonfunctional dual hood scoop and rear spoiler. Other options included high back bucket seats and dual exhausts. This 1971 Plymouth Duster 340 scaled model includes the following features: 1) Clear window glass areas; 2) Chrome parts; 3) Detailed engine; 4) Detailed interior; 5) Hood has dual hood scoops and can be displayed in the closed or open position; 6) Rear deck spoiler; 7) Vinyl blackwall tires and 9) Illustrated assembly instructions. The model box is in new condition. Never started and factory sealed.
