George N. Pierce was originally a manufacturer of bird cages and bicycles but eventually gravitated to building fine luxuory automobiles.  He produced his first car in 1901.  George N. Pierce's automobiles were well known for their advanced styling and engine designs.  While Pierce Arrow was purchased by Studebaker in 1928, it regainded its independence in 1933 but eventual fell victim to the economic downturn facing the United States during the 1930s and as a result closed its doors for good in 1938.  Perhaps the single greatest achievement of the Pierce Arrow manufacturing company was the mass production of a reliable 12 cylinder automobile model.  This 1932 Pierce Arrow Custom Convertible model is molded in red plastic, is part of the Pyro Plastic's "Table Top Series" and includes the following features: 1) Chrome finish parts; 2) Clear plastic windshield; 3) Detailed engine; 4) Detailed chassis and interior; 5) Illustrated assembly instructions and 6) Perfect scale to convert to table top racing.  The box is in excellent condition but does have two pieces of original packaging tape on the sides of the box.   Never started and 100% complete with all parts and instructions inventoried.
