The 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe, also known as the Model 40 A, was notable for its front opening doors known as "Suicide Doors". Noticeable changes over the 1932 "Deuce" coupe and the 1933 Ford included a flatter grille with a wider surround and straight hood louvers. The horsepower output of the V-8 engine was increased from 65 h.p. to 85 h.p.. The 1934 Ford model was also the last to have as standard, the four-cylinder Model A engine and to utilize the Victoria body style. Ford coupes of this era were destine to become true classics and were sought out as car enthusiasts often converted them in to both street legal and racetrack only hot rods. This older 1934 Ford 3 window coupe car kit is one of the Pyro Plastics "Table Top Series" of models. It represents an American stock car and is molded in an authentic automobile color. This kit also includes clear molded parts, complete interior detailing and is a perfect scale to convert to Road Racing. The model's price reflects the fact that the box is in very good condition with a piece of old packaging tape on the box side and two letters marked on the top cover. Never started and 100% complete with all parts and instructions inventoried.
