The 1941 Ford received a complete updating in advance of America's participation in World War II.  The new Ford car began being produced in 1941, had an abreviated 1942 model run and then was suspended until the end of World War II in 1945.  It was then produced with minor refinements for the 1946, 1947 and 1948 model years.  The 1941 Ford came in the following body styles: 1) 2-door coupe; 2) 2-door convertible; 3) 2-door pick-up truck; 4) 2-door sedan; 5) 4-door sedan and 6) 4-door station wagon.  This latter body style could also be ordered with wood grain panel sides.  Engine choices included the 226 cu. in. inline 6 cylinder, 221 cu. in. flathead V-8 and the 239 cu. in. flathead V-8 motors.  The 1941 Fords were known for their wider bodies which almost covered the running boards and up-to date styling.  This older 100 piece '41 Ford Woody scaled model includes the following features: 1)   Chrome Parts; 2) Clear windshield and headlight lenses; 3) Custom wheels 4) Detailed fuel-injected "Flathead" V-8 engine; 5) Detailed interior; 6) Hood  can be displayed in the closed or open position; 7) "Quick-change" rear end; 8) Surfboard and 9) Vinyl blackwall tires and 10) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The model box is in excellent condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
