The 1954 Chevrolet Panel Van was often purchased by individuals who would use them commercially as vehicles to haul freight or as an economic step-down from a full-sized truck.  This type of vehicle was frequently used by florists as a delivery vehicle and was popular with carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other members of the skilled trades.  More recently, 1950s era panel vans, especially the 1954 Chevy Panel Van, have been used as the basis to create a customized, high performance "street rod".  This older, out-of-production "Special Limited Edition" '54 Chevy Panel scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic special "California" custom graphics; 2) Chrome parts; 2) Clear plastic window glass and headlight lenses; 3) Custom hood louvers; 4) Detailed 409 cu. in. customized V-8 engine; 5) Detailed interior; 6) Molded in Chianti Red colored plastic; 7) Opening hood; 8) Simulated alloy billet wheels; 9) Vinyl blackwall Michelin tires and 10) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
