The 1962 Pontiac Catalina was produced by the General Motors Corporation and was part of the second generation of this vehicles manufactured between 1962 and 1964.  The Pontiac Catalina could be purchased in the following body styles: 1) 2-door convertible; 2) 2-door coup; 3) 4-door sedan and 4) 4-door station wagon.  Engine options included the following: 1) 389 cu. in. V-8; 2) 400 cu. in. V-8 and 3) 421 cu. in V-8.  The 1962 Pontiac Catalina was one of the early muscle cars and is a favorite of car enthusiasts to this day.  This older '62 Catalina 421 SD scaled model includes the following features: 1) Clear window glass areas; 2) Chrome parts; 3) Detailed 405 horsepower 421 cu. in.
