The book, A Time To Remember, tells the interesting story of Jack Parsonson, a fighter pilot who flew with the South African Air Force (SAAF) during World War II.  Mr. Parsonson had an amazing wartime career during the war flying P-36s against the Italians in East Africa, P-40s in North Africa and Spitfires post war.  Mr. Parsonson was shot down three times, became a squadron commander and took part in the "Cape Bon Massacre".  "A Time To Remember" includes the following major sections: 1) Introduction; 2) Prelude to War; 3) Aiscia; 4) Back in the Union; 5) Cairo; 6) El Alamein; 7) The Advance; 8) No. 7 Wing: S.A.A.F.; 9) Over Tunisia; 10) Germany and 11) Italy.  In addition to an informative narrative, "A Time To Remember" includes the following features: 1) Approximately 41 black and white photographs; 2) 1 black and white illustration and 3) 3 maps.  This book is 127 pages and is in new condition.  The author is Jack Parsonson with Tom Frique (editing), Steve Ferguson (cover art work) and Emory C.
