The movie, A Yank In The R.A.F. is a romantic early World War II drama that centers on a money-motivated pilot named Tim Baker.  After taking a high-paying job to ferry a twin engine bomber across the Atlantic Ocean, Tim by chance bumps into an old flame named Carol who sparks enough interest that he joins the R.A.F. just to be near her.  Unfortunately for Tim Baker, his love interest is also being pursued by another pilot who just happens to be his superior officer.  Once Baker begins flying bombing missions, however, life suddenly takes on far more meaning than just trying to win over a former girl friend.  This film features actual aerial combat footage and is an engaging love story.  Starring Tyrone Power and Betty Grable among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1941.  Runtime 98 minutes.
