This postcard depicts a U.S. Army listening post complete with acoustic amplifying equipment, a high power searchlight, supporting supply trailers and five soldiers.  The scene of this postcard is set against the background of a green forest and blue sky in the distance.  This postcard was one of Genuine Curteich's "C.T. Art-Colortone" cards and created with an original photograph supplied by the U.S. Army Signal Corps.  It is identified as USA-35 and 1B-M190.  This postcard contains writing along with a partially discernable cancellation stamp indicating it was sent from Fort Hood Texas at 8:00 pm on September 7th.  The year is not legible  It is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall very good condition with a trace of wear on all four corners.
