This postcard depicts the single funnel Allan Royal Mail Steamer "Ionian" under a head of steam in open water.  The postcard notes that the "Ionian" weighs in at 9000 tons.  This postcard contains no legend on the back, has no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall very good condition with slight wear evident on all four corners.
