The American Heritage: World War I And The Twenties (Volume 13) is part of this publication's 16 book series which chronicles United States history from the New World (Volume 1) up through America Today (Volume 16).  This volume covers World War I up through the "roaring" twenties.  Volume 13 includes the following three chapters: 1)  C-37 The Great Crusade; 2) C-38 The Bussinessman's Government and 3) C-39 The Roaring Twenties.  This book also includes the following two picture portfolios: 1) The War in the Air and 2) America as Advertised.  Finally, Volume 13 includes a narrative by Allan Nevins titled Henry Ford: A Complex Man.  The very informative American Heritage: World War I And The Twenties text is supplemented with the following: 1) 32 vintage black and white photographs; 2) 74 color illustrations; 3) One color picture; 4) Two pages of color aircraft profiles and 5) 2 black and white political cartoons from the era.  This books is 84 pages and is in very good condition.  The author is Robert G. Athearn.  Edition published in 1963.
