The book American Spitfire Camouflage And Markings (Part 2) briefly covers the Eagle Squadrons with their standard RAF camouflage and markings. It leads on to the 4th Fighter Group and then the 52nd Fighter Group which, like the 31st Fighter Group covered in American Spitfire Camouflage and Markings (Part 1) operated Spitfires in a variety of color schemes over a two year period early in World War II. The chapters included in this book are as follow 1) The 4th Fighter Group; 2) The 52nd Fighter Group operating in North Africa, Sicily, Corsica and Italy; 3) United States Navy Evaluation Seafire; 4) The 67th Reconnaissance Group and 5) The 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group. The appendices include sections on camouflage colors, 52nd Fighter Group combat victories on Spitfires, a bibliography and Spitfire color schemes in the MTO. Included in this book are 39 color illustrations, 4 color photographs, 94 black and white photographs, 1 map and a number of line drawings. This book is 72 pages and is in like new condition.
