The TV Series, Baa Baa Black Sheep Volume 1 - (The First Adventures Of The Black Sheep Squadron) was based on the real-life experiences of Lt. Col. Gregory "Pappy" Boyington who was a United States Marine Corps aviator in World War II. The series centers on Boyington and his team of United States Marine Corps pilots stationed on a Pacific Island during World War II. Boyington not only sends his group of pilots on assorted missions which include interesting flying sequences but must also keep physical order within the rag-tag group while they remain on the base. Baa Baa Black Sheep: Volume One contains the first twelve episodes of the show which is half of the first season.
