The Bell Huey Cobra Helicopter AH-16 is a decendent of the famed combat Huey helicopter and was America's first true gunship.  This sleek, purpose built helicopter can travel at speeds of 196 m.p.h thus allowing it to reach targets in half the time of previous models and can stay over the target area three times as long.  Its greater range, endurance and fire power ensure a fast, flexible response to requests for forward fire support.  The Huey Cobra flies fully armed with rockets, bombs and miniguns in support of American and Allied ground forces.  Tandem cockpits give the pilot and gunner an unobstructed field of view and allow the pair to operate more effectively as a coordinated combat team.  This helicopter is powered by one Lycoming T-53 gas turbine engine rated at 1,100 S.H.P., has a maixmum speed of 196 m.p.h. and carries 38 -  2.75" rockets and a mini-gun.  This older, out-of-production kit includes illustrated assembly instructions and authentic decals for a helicopter operated by the U.S. Army.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
