The book, Bomber Command Museum Guide, is a publication available to individuals visiting the Royal Air Force Bomber Command Museum located in Great Britain.  As a point of fact, the Royal Air Force Bomber Command Museum tells the interesting story of the development of the Royal Air Force Bomber Command from the Great War of 1914 - 1918 to the present day.  Perhaps the high-point of "Bomber Command" came during World War II when, early on, the Royal Air Force's bombers were the only means England had to stirke back at the tierany of Nazi occupied Europe.  Later when the United States joined the war effort against the Axis forces in Europe, the Royal Air Force Bomber Command continued to fly their bombing miisions at night while the United States Army Air Corps took over this responsibility during its daylight bombing missions.  As this museum guide points out, during World War II 55,000 Royal Air Force and 76,000 United States Army Air Corps airmen lost their lives in the Allied bombing campaign against the ground targets of the Axis forces in Europe.  The "Bomber Command" museum now houses bombers ranging from early bi-planes to the mighty delta winged Vulcan jet bomber.   Aside from displaying historical bomber aircraft, this museum offers tributes to the men and women who served both in the air and on the ground, to manufacturers of the aircraft flown and to the determination of individuals who made a difference through their own self-sacrifices.  This museum guide also points out that while the spectacular success of the Battle of Britain is widely known, the contributions made by "Bomber Command" during World War II have all but been forgotten.  In addition to an informative narrative, the Royal Air Force Bomber Command Museum Guide provides the following: 1) Approximately 40 vintage black and white photographs; 2) About 12 color photographs;  3) 12 color illustrations and 4) 3 black and white illustrations.  The Royal Air Force Museum Guide is 38 pages and is in very good condition.  This publication was produced by the Royal Air Force Museum.  No publication information was provided.
