The Breguet 695 was a light, twin-engine ground-attack aircraft developed and deployed on the eve of World War II in 1939. While the Breguet 695 was a reliable and rugged aircraft with adequate armament, it was introduced to late into combat to make much of a contribution to the outcome of the war with Germany in the spring of 1940. By the itme production ceased with the French surrender in June, 1940 a little over 200 aircraft of all variants had been produced. The Breguet carried a crew of two (pilot & rear-gunner) and had the following operational characteristics: 1) Top speed of just over 300 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of approximately 800 miles and 3) Service ceiling of just under 28,000 feet. The Breguet 695 carried one 20 mm cannon and four fixed and flexible 7.5 mm machine guns along with a bombload of 1,000 lbs. This older Breguet 695 model is molded in light gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a Breguet 695 flown by the French Air Force during the first part of World War II; 2) Clear plastic multi-piece canopy; 3) Clear plastic display base; 4) Recessed panel lines; 5) Painting guide in color and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions. The box is in very good condition. Never started and 100% complete with all parts and instructions inventoried.
