This kit represents the night fighter version of the famous twin engine Beaufighter first introduced in 1939. The Beaufighter was first equiped with Airborne interception (AI) radar during the latter stages of the Battle of Britain when the Germans switched their terror bombing of British cities to nighttime attacks. During its entire World War II career, the Beaufighter was also used in other roles including interception, bombing and anti-ship warfare. This detailed kit includes decals for the British, R.A.F. 600th Night Fighter Squadron. Never started and factory sealed.
