The Crusader Tank was a British light tank deployed during the first half of World War II.  It was the most important and numerous tank used by the British during the North African Campaign.  It was known as a relatively fast tank but was underarmed with only a two-pounder main gun and was prone to mechanical breakdowns.  In all approximately 5,300 were built but shortly after the conclusion of the North African Campaign, the availability of better tanks like the U.S. Sherman and the British Cromwell tanks relegated the Crusader to secondary duties such as anti-tank mounts or gun tractors.  This British Crusader Mk. I / II includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for three different Crusader Mk. I / II tanks operated by the British Army during World War II; 2) Die-cast chassis; 3) Link and length track; 4) Optional parts for both Mk. I and Mk. II versions; 5) Paint guide and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in mint condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
