The Buick turbocharged V-6 Grand National was reputed to be the fastest production streetcar in 1987.  The turbocharged V-6 engine used in the Buick Grand National was the same motor used in racecars at the time and it was capable of powering a vehicle to over 220 miles per hour.  The Buick Grand National could go from 0 to 60 m.p.h. in 5.4 seconds which brought it to the head of the line in terms of the fastest production vehicle in 1987.  This older, out-of-production Buick Grand National scaled model includes the following features: 1) Chrome parts; 2) Clear plastic window areas; 3) Detailed chassis; 4) Detailed V-6 engine and compartment; 5) Detailed interior; 6) Opening hood; 7) Vinyl blackwall tires and 8) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
