The movie, Bullets Or Ballots is a fast moving and hard-hitting classic ganster film from the 1930s.  The plot of this film centers on detective Johnny Blake who when fired from the police force, takes a job with the city's top gangster who is eager for a former "insider's" help in defeating the law.  Shunned by his girlfriend and former friends, Blake soon becomes one of the gang's most powerful figures.  His activities, however, are under the constant, watchful eye of rival gangster Bugs Fenner, who is quite suspicious of the "former" cop.  With a great cast and story, the film Bullets Or Ballots is packed with action, "clever" dialogue and an unusual ending, making it a "must-see" for anyone interested in classic ganster films.  Starring Edward G.
