The Cadillac Gage V-100 Commando is perhaps the best-known post World War II American armored car.  The Cadillac Gage Commando was a versatile, amphibious, 4X4 vehicle that was introduced into the American armed forces in 1962.  The Commando went through numerous changes as it evolved to meet the realities of armor warfare particularly during the Vietnam War.  The Commando was used as a convoy escort, personnel carrier, reconnaissance and riot control vehicle among many other duties.  During the Vietnam War, The Commando was used extensively by both the American and allied armed forces.  While retired from active use by the United States military, many are still in use around the world by the armed forces of its allies.  In addition, many police forces have converted older Commando's into riot control vehicles.  The book, Cadillac Gage V-100 Commando Walk Around (Color Series) represents a pictorial review of this famous post World War II armored car.  In addition to an informative Introduction and picture captions, "Cadillac Gage V-100 Commando Walk Around (Color Series)" includes the following features: 1) 3 black and white photographs; 2) Approximately 253 color photographs; 3) 6 black and white illustrations and 4) 2 color cover paintings.  This book is 80 pages and is in new condition.  The author is David Doyle with Don Greer (colorist) and Matheu Spraggins (illustrations).  Edition published in 2008.
