The book, Canuck's Unlimited: Royal Canadian Air Force CF-100 Squadrons And Aircraft (1952 - 1963) tells the story of the Avro Canada CF-100 which has the distinction in Canadian aviation history as the only indigenous interceptor designed and ultimately put into operational service.  While this feat is not likely to be repeated in the future given the cost and complexity of modern aircraft design it does serve as a visible symbol of Canadian aviation potential.  Between 1950 and 1958 a total of 692 CF-100s were produced and they eventually equipped nine domestic Royal Canadian Air Force all-weather fighter squadrons with a further four being deployed to Europe.  The closest N.A.T.O. equivalent to the CF-100 was the Northrup F-89 Scorpion but to many observers, it was inferior in important ways to the Canadian designed aircraft.  The period of time between 1952 and 1963 when the CF-100 had a prominent role in defending Canada is considered in retrospect to be the "Golden Years" for the Royal Canadian Air Force.  It was a period of time when the quality of aircraft and the calibre of the personnel were second to none.  This pictorial study of the Canadian CF-100 includes the following: 1) 200 vintage black and white photographs; 2) 10 color aircraft side profiles; 3) 6 pages of black and white line drawings and 4) An Appendix including CF-100 Variants and Royal Canadian Air Foce CF-100 Squadrons & Other Units.  This book is 124 pages and is in excellent condition.  The author is Bob Baglow with Ron E. Lowry and John Matthews (illustrations) and Howard McLean (line art).  Edition published in 1985.
