This postcard depicts a steam powered locomotive pulling at least four passenger cars as it pulls away from a train station. The scene also shows a number of homes and barns on the right side of the field with "Castle Rock" and a light colored sky in the background. This postcard includes no legend on the backside, includes writing on the reverse side and is identified as number 8495. A partial postmark indicates that it was mailed from a post office in Denver Colorado on September 24, 1909. This postcard is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall very good condition with wear evident on all four corners.
