The Cessna 172 is a four-seat, single engine, high-fixed wing aircraft that has been in production since 1955.  Measured in terms of longevity, the Cessna 172 is the most successful mass-produced light aircraft in United States history.  The Cessna 172 equipped with a tricycle landing gear had as its predecessor the Cessna 170 tail-dragger.  The rugged and versatile Cessna 172 (L-41 Mescalero) has also been manufactured for the United States Air Force and United States Army as a pilot training aircraft.  To date, the number of Cessna 172 (L-41) of all variants produced exceeds 43,000.  The Cessna 172 Sky Hawk has a maximum level flight speed of 132 mph.  This Cessna 172 Sky Hawk scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic "set in" color decals; 2) Clear multi-piece plastic cockpit "glass" areas; 3) Detailed cockpit; 4) Molded in light-gray colored plastic; 5) Optional position display stand molded in navy blue colored plastic complete with name plaque; 6) Wingspan of completed model is 5 3/4 inches and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
