The book, Confederate Air Force, is a pictorial study of what has become the largest and most colourful fleet of actively maintained warbirds in the world.  The Confederate Air Force came about initially as a result of a handful of World war II aviation enthusiast's observation that the United States military branches were by the late 1950s largely destroying and scrapping America's aviation legacy coming out of World War II.  From it inception in the late 1950s with one lone P-51 Mustang and a handful of charter members in Texas, has grown the most complete fleet of actively flown World War II era aircraft from both the Allied and Axis Air Forces.  The Confedearte Air Force relocated to Midland-Odessa International Airport in Texas by the early 1990s and now boasts an aviation museum and hundreds of authentic, flyable World War II era aircraft.  The sections of this book are as follows: 1)Introduction; 2 Fighter Muscle; 3) Middleweight Twins; 4) Naval Wings; 5) Tora, Tora, Tora; 6) Heavy Metal; 7) Spainish Luftwaffe; 8) Training for War and 9) Ground Party.  The book, Confederate Air Force includes very informative picture captions and 124 color photographs.  This book is 128 pages and is in excellent condition.  The author is Peter M.
