The Curtiss SB2C Helldiver was the "backbone" of the United States Navy's offensive in the Pacific from 1943 until the Japanese capitulation  in 1945 and later fought hard against the Communists in the French Navy.  The author, in the book Curtiss Sb2C Helldiver,lays out the complete history of the aircraft including design, construction and the many modifications subsequently found needed during testing of this, the U.S. Navy's major dive bomber of the 1944 - 1948 period.  The many rare photographs, tables, charts and diagrams make this the definitive history of this aircraft, along with details of the few that survive today.  This book is 224 pages and is in excellent condition.  The author is Peter C.
