The D3A1 Val was the Japanese Navy's primary dive bomber used throughout World War II. Approximately 1,500 Vals of all variants were produced throughout World War II. The B7A2 Grace aircraft was a large and powerful dive and torpedo bomber produced by Aichi Kokuki KK for the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1941 to 1945. The B7A2 Grace dive and torpedo bomber was designed and intended to replace the Val but was never available in sufficient numbers to make any real contribution to the Imperial Japanese Navy's war effort. Approximately 115 of the A1 and A2 variants were produced before the end of World War II. This 1980s kit includes accurate scale representations of the following two aircraft: 1) Imperial Japanese Navy D3A1 Val dive bomber and 2) Imperial Japanese Navy B7A2 Grace dive and torpedo bomber. Both aircraft are molded in green plastic and contain clear plastice canopies, authentic markings and illustrated assembly instructions. The box is in very good condition. Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
