This Revell-Mongram kit of the famed DC-3 twin engine airliner comes with colorful decals for Eastern Airlines and features a detailed interior including both the cabin and cockpit.  The DC- 3 went into  service in the late 1930s and was the first aircraft to make air travel practical.  Due to its excellent flying characteristics and reliability, the DC-3 soldiers on to this day as a charter airliner and cargo plane.  During World War II and subsequent wars it was used in the cargo, paratrooper transport and "spookie" gunship roles and was known as the C-47.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and factory sealed with all parts, decals and instructions.
