The F-15 Eagle is a large single seat United States Air Force all-weather multi-role jet fighter originally developed to match the capabilities of the Soviet Union’s MiG-23 fighter.  The F-15 is powered by two F-100 turbofan jet engines, which gives the Eagle a performance edge against most adversarial opponents it faces.  The aircraft has two-dimensional variable-size air intake ducts on either side of the nose, as well as, twin vertical stabilizers, which are both standard characteristics of modern jet fighters.  The prototype F-15 made its first flight in July 1974 and since then over 800 aircraft across all variants have been manufactured.  In addition to being flown by the United States Air Force, the F-15 has become the standard air superiority fighter in the air forces of Israel, Japan and Saudi Arabia among others. This F-15 C Eagle scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a F-15 C as operated by the United States Air Force; 2) Clear one piece plastic canopy; 3) Molded in white colored plastic; 4) Recessed panel lines; 5) Under-wing mounted missiles and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
