The book, F6F Hellcat Walk Around (# 9), reviews in detail the F6F Hellcat which was the United States Navy's primary fighter during the second half of World War II. As a matter of reference, in the hands of skilled naval aviators, it shot down more Japanese aircraft than any other fighter during World War II.
