The book, F6F Hellcat Walk Around (# 9), reviews in detail the F6F Hellcat which was the United States Navy's primary fighter during the second half of World War II.  As a matter of reference, in the hands of skilled naval aviators, it shot down more Japanese aircraft than any other fighter during World War II.  This volume gives a "pilot's eye view" of the Hellcat both inside and out covering details seldom seen in other publications.  Included in this book are over 200 color and black & white photographs, 40 pages of color and numerous line drawings.  This book is 80 pages.  The author is LCDR Richard S.
