The book, Famous Fighters Of The Second World War II (Second Series), represents the second book in a series of publications that provide a  comprehensive review of some of the most famous Allied and Axis Fighters of World War II.  Aircraft covered within the twelve chapters of this book include the: 1) Polikarpov I-16; 2) Gloster Gladiator; 3) Boulton Paul Defiant; 4) Grumman Wildcat; 5) Macchi-Castoldi Series; 6) Junkers Ju 88 Series; 7) Nakajima Hayabusa; 8) Chance Vought Corsair; 9) Yakovlev Series; 10) Grumman Hellcat; 11) Heinkel He 219 Uhu and 12) The Nakajima Hayate.  These fighters both successful and unsucessful are covered with hundreds of rare, black and white photographs, highly detailed full-page tone drawings and comparative side view illustrations of the many variants of each aircraft.  This book is 132 pages and is in excellent condition.  The author is William Green with Peter Endsleigh Castle ( full-page tone drawings) and Dennis I.
