The Fiat CR 32 Falcon, was an Italian designed single seat, single engine bi-plane fighter that was introduced into the Regia Aeronautica in 1939 at the dawn of World War II.  When production ceased, almost 1,800 CR 32 Falcons of all variants had been manufactured with small numbers of the fighter being exported to Belgium, Finland, Hungary and Sweden.  The CR 32 was known for its maneuvrability and sturdiness which allowed it to hold its own early in World War II against more modern monoplane designs.  The operational characteristics of the CR 32 Falcon are as follows: 1) Top speed of just under 275 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of almost 500 miles and 3) Service Ceiling of just over 33,000 feet.  The CR 32 Falcon carried up to four 12.7 mm machine guns and up to 440 lbs of bombs attached to two underwing hardpoints.  This older, out-of-production Fiat CR 32 model is molded in a mustard colored plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a CR 32 operated by the Italian Airforce during World War II; 2) Clear plastic display base; 3) Clear plastic wind screen; 4) Pilot figure; 5) Paint guide and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  Note: the price of this model reflects the fact that it is missing two tiny upper wing mounted slats that will need to be "sourced" from your spare parts boc.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete except as otherwise noted above with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
