The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was Germany's second generation of monplane interceptors.  Its first encounter with the British Spitfires in September of 1941 proved very successful for the Luftwaffe.  As the design evolved to meet changing military circumstances the A-series version of this versatile fighter resulted in the Fw 190 A-8 variant which was to be built in greater numbers than any other sub-type.  This Pro-Modeler kit contains parts and markings to built one of the three following aircraft employed in the defence of the Reich in 1944: 1) Fw 190A-8 of 6/JG1 "Owsau"; 2) Fw 190 A-8 of III./JG 54 "Grunherz" and 3) The neptun radar equiped Fw 190fA-8/ RII night fighter of NJGr.10.  Factory sealed and never started.
