The Focke-Wulf 190 was considered by many to be the most beautifully proportioned and aerodynamically efficient aircraft to come out of World War II.  It was designed initially as a fighter to possibly replace the Messerschmitt Bf-109 but through continuous modification during the war came to be used as the German Luftwaffe's most versatile single engined light-attack bomber.  The Fw 190 first saw combat in 1941 and served to the end of the war in ever increasing numbers but in the end was simply overwelmed by the shear numbers of Allied fighters thrown against it.  The book Focke-Wulf Fw 190 pays particular attention to its design and construction, its modifications and variants , its technical innovations, and its flight characteristics. This book also includes many black and white photos, detail line drawings, and full-color paintings along with relevant  technical data.  This book is 48 pages and is in excellent condition.  The author is Robert Grinsell with Rikyu Watanabe (Illustrator).  First edition published in 1980.
