The book, Fokker D. VII (# 166), provides an in-depth review of the German, World War I era single engine, single seat bi-plane fighter.  The Fokker D. VII went into production and was deployed to front-line service in 1918.  The Fokker D. VII was powered by a 160 h.p. Mercedes D. III engine and quickly became more than a match for any allied fighter in the air.  The Foller D. VII was maneuverable and a very rugged fighter that frequently return from battle with cables and struts shot away.  While the Fokker D. VII was succeeding in the air, the German forces on the ground were not and by November, 1918 they agreed to an Allied proposed armistice.  This publication represents a useful reference guide for modelling enthuousiasts.  In addition to an informative text, this book includes the following features: 1) Approximately 90 black and white photographs; 2) 38 black and white line drawings; 3) 10 full color side profiles; 4) 1 three-way drawings and 5) 3 cover paintings.  This book is 50 pages and in excellent condition.  The author is D.
