The Ford Fliver was a single-engine, single-seat light monoplane aircraft designed and built by the Stout Metal Airplane Division of the Ford Motor Company.  The Ford Fliver was intended to be a sort of every man's Ford Model T of the sky but after a fatal crash of the second prototype flown by Ford Chief Test pilot Harry Brooks, the development program for this aircraft was cancelled.  The Ford Fliver was powered by a French three-cylinder Anzani engine, which allowed it to reach a top speed of approximately 85 miles per hour.  While a total of six prototype Ford Flivers were built, only one survives today as part of the aircraft collection of the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan.  This older Ford Fliver scaled model was part of the Williams Brothers' Golden Age Series of aircraft models and includes the following features: 1) Authentic Ford & serial number graphics; 2) Detailed cockpit, 3) Detailed engine; 4) Full size plans and rigging diagram; 5) Injection-molded parts; 6) Monofilament rigging material and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
