The movie, Frankenstein, is what many consider to be the greatest horror film of all time.  The plot centers on a Dr. Frankenstein who dares tamper with life and death by creating a human monster out of many different lifeless body parts.  After creating this creature, Dr. Frankenstein sees his dreams shattered by his monster's violent rage as it wakes to a world in which it is not welcome.  This film is Director James Whale's adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic horror novel is set against a gothic backdrop and offers a compassionate portrayal of a creature groping for identity.  Starring Boris Karloff, Colin CLive and Mae Clarke among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1931.  Runtime of 71 minutes.
