The German Leopard 2 A6 main battle tank is the successor to the highly successful Leopard 1.  The Leopard A6 is the export version of the standard Leopard 2 and was developed and jointly between the Ministry of Defense of Germany and Spain.  This variant was first produced in the mid 1990s and it has many enhancements over the Leopard 1 including a more modern Integrated Command and Information System, a longer 120 mm smoothbore main gun and additional supplemental armor.  The Leopard 2A5 / A6 is designed to use the more effective APFSDS-T Round which can penetrate thicker armor plate but is still under development.  This Leopard 2 A6 model includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a Leopard 2 A6 operated by the Spainish Army; 2) Detailed chassis, hull and turret; 3) Two vinyl tracks and 4) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
