The Grumman E-2 is known around the world as the "flying radar station.  The E-2C Hawkeye is a powerful airborne warning and command system (AWACS) that represents the most recent variant of this long serving airplane and dates back to a first flight on October 21, 1960.  This variant of the Hawkeye offers a more advanced radar and a reverse detection system.  While this particular model has been deployed for over a decade, it remains today on the cutting edge of AWACS performance and is invaluable for the protection it offers America's many carrier task forces operating successfully around the world.  This kit is an accurate representation of the E2-C Hawkeye and includes authentic decals for an aircraft operating from the United States Kitty Hawk and contains complete instructions in English.  The model box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
