The Grumman F-14 "Tomcat" made famous in the movie "Top-Gun" is a supersonic, twin jet engine, two-seat, swing-wing fighter aircraft.  The F-14 was the United States Navy's primary air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft from 1974 until its retirement late in 2006.  The performance characteristics of the F-14 A are as follows: 1) Top speed at altitude approximately 1,500 m.p.h. and 2) Combat range of almost 600 miles.  The F-14 carries one 20 mm M61 Vulcan Gatling Gun and is able to carry a combination of bombs and air-to-air missiles on six fuselage and two wing hard-points.  This Grumman F-14 A Tomcat (Royal Aslan Air Force Fighter) is molded in gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a F-14 A as flown by the United States and "Royal Aslan" Air Forces; 2) Clear one piece canopy; 3) Clear plastic display base; 4) Four bombs and missiles; 5) Larger pilot figure molded in orange-tan color plastic; 6) Recessed panel lines; 7) Two seated pilot figures; 8) Painting Guide and 9) Illustrated assembly instructions. The box is in like-new condition.   Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
