The Handley Page Heyford British biplane heavy bomber served in Royal Air Force squadrons during the 1930s.  It had largely been removed from front line units prior to the on-set of World War II in September, 1939.  The Handley Page Heyford was thereafter relegated to secondary duties including the training of Royal Air Force crews for the more modern, single wing bombers which began entering service in the late 1930s.  This Handley Page Heyford Mk. I/II/III model represents a reissue of the original "Classic Series" kit and includes authentic markings for the following three aircraft: 1) Mk. III, "C" Flight, 102 Squadron, 1938; 2) Mk. I, 99 Squadron, 1934 and 3) Mk. II, "B" Flight 7 (B) Squadron, 1935.  This kit also includes the following features: 1) Basic cockpit; 2) Boarding ladders; 3) Four aircrew; 4) Optional position ventral turret; 5) Optional parts to build all three variants; 6) Optional weapons racks with external bombs and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  Never started and factory sealed.
