The Hansa-Brandenburg W-29 was a World War I era German single engined monoplane floatplane that was used as both a fighter and observation aircraft.  It was based on the Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 biplane but pocessed greater performance characteristics due to its monplane configuration.  It typically operated from bases on the German North Sea Coast late in World War I.  The Hansa-Brandenburg W-29 carried a crew of two, had a maiximum speed of about 100 m.p.h. and had an effective combat endurance of approximately four hours.  The W-29 carried up to two fixed, forward firing 7.92 mm machine guns and one variable position rearward firing 7.92 mm machine gun.  This foreign kit includes the following: 1) Authentic German Navy markings for an aircraft operating in early 1918; 2) Painting guide; 3) Three machine guns and 4) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in very good condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
