The heinkel He 219 Owl was arguably one of the most outstanding night fighters of World War II.  In 1942, Heinkel was tasked with developing the twin engined He 219.  Not only was the He 219 fast, with a maximum speed in excess of 600 Km/h, but it also  possessed excellent maneuverability, had a well-designed cockpit and was equipped with advanced airborne radar.  The He 219 was also the first German production aircraft to have a tricycle landing gear and ejector seats for both crew members.  The book, Heinkel He 219, provides many previously unpublished details in describing the development history of the He 219, the technology it employed, its testing, production and use in combat.  Included in this book are many period color and black and white photographs, line drawings and technical data.  The book is 160 pages and is in like new condition.  The author is Roland Remp.  Edition published in 2000.
